Create a fine-grained token scoped to read-only access on your own account (github.com/settings/personal-access-tokens/new) and paste it here. It unlocks a 1-hour refresh floor instead of 6, plus the option below to count private activity.
Folds private repos and commits into the numbers — only if the token belongs to the account you're generating a card for. A token for someone else's account gets this switched off automatically.
Your token is sealed with envelope encryption the instant it reaches the server — it's sent once over HTTPS, encrypted before it's stored, and never sent back to a browser again, including yours. If you lose it, the fix is to register a new card.
